Steph and Donny were released from the hospital on Saturday morning. Donny came home for the first time a little bit after 11:00 AM. Steph's parents and our pet cockatiels Infinity and Sydney welcomed Donny home. Infinity was really anxious to meet Donny...she even preened his hair at one point, which is a bird's way of showing affection. Sydney kept his distance from Donny for the most part.
Even though Donny was measuring long at each of Steph's pre-natal visits, he is right around the size of the average new born. Surprisingly, some of his new born clothes swallow up his hands and feet.
After spending almost 2 days and nights in the hospital, Steph is happy to be back home. Hopefully it will be easier for her to get more rest now that nurses and doctors aren't checking up on her every couple of hours.
