Easter Sunday 2009

Here are some pictures that were taken during Easter this year.

Donny took his first solo steps in the kitchen on the morning of Saturday, February 21st. Ever since then, he has been walking and running everywhere. Here is the first video of Donny walking on his own.

Walking Across the Living Room - March 8, 2009

Lawnmower Boy

At the beginning of March there was snow on the ground, but by the end of March the grass was already a few inches high. Donny wanted to help Steph mow the yard with his own lawn mower.

March Snowstorm

Greensboro received a couple of inches of snow on March 1, 2009. Even though it was cold and dark outside, the three of us enjoyed the rare sight. Donny especially enjoyed it since it was the first substantial snowfall that he had ever seen.

Miscellaneous Winter Videos

Here are some new videos of Donny that were shot back in January and February. We are hoping to have some more recent photos and videos posted soon.

Dancing Donny - January 6, 2009
Donny enjoys dancing to the singing Christmas toys. This was taken the day after he returned home from the hospital when he had the stomach flu.

Touchdown and Bye Bye - January 21, 2009
Donny started talking more in January. Kelli Bachstein took this video while watching Donny one day in January. Donny tries to say the words "touchdown" and "bye-bye".

Rock Band Practice - January 26, 2009
Donny loves music. He especially likes to play the drums. After some more practice, he will be able to play the drums in Rock Band while Don plays guitar and Steph sings.

Donny's New Swing - February 7, 2009
One of Donny's Christmas presents was a new swing for the playset in the back yard. There was a warm day in February where Donny was able to use his swing for the first time. He seems to enjoy it very much.
